The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person. Robert Harris Jr., 78 years old of Macon, was last seen by his nephew, Ronnie Smith, at their residence located at 4344 West Highland Drive just before 8:00AM Saturday morning. Harris left the apartment after telling Smith he was going to see his doctor. Smith had told him the doctor’s office was closed on Saturday.
Harris is a black male. He is 6 feet 2 inches in height and weighs approximately 220 pounds. He has gray hair and is balding. He was wearing khaki pants, a gray sweatshirt, a forest green colored jacket and shoes and a green and white ball cap. is known to ride the bus and frequents the downtown area. Smith did not have a recent picture of Harris. The photo attached is from 2002. A Mattie’s Call was also issued for Harris.
