It was reported to Bibb Sheriff’s Fatality investigators that 66 year old George Miller of Macon, passed on Sunday, October 14, 2018. Miller was involved in a pedestrian involved accident, as we was walking across Spring Street.
Investigators received information from the Coroner’s Office, stating that Miller’s passing was related to the injuries that he received from the accident.
This fatal accident is still under investigation. There are no charges at this time.

Pedestrian Accident with Injuries in East Macon
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on Spring St near Riverside Dr. It was reported that 66yr old George Miller, of Macon, was crossing Spring St. when he walked in front of a Honda Civic, driven by 28yr old Johnathan Turner, of Macon. Turner was traveling north, out of town, from Riverside Dr. Miller was taken to the Navicent Health and he is listed in critical but stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in this accident. There are no charges at this time.
