The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred on Broadway at Houston Rd, just after 07:00am. It was reported that a 51yr old, Carvin Cleveland Hill was crossing Broadway, going east, when he stepped in front of a Dodge Ram truck driven by 49yr old Joey Warren, of Warner Robins. Warren was traveling north on Houston Rd turning onto Broadway.
Hill was pronounced deceased on scene by Coroner Leon Jones. The Coroner stated that he is continuing to try and locate the next of kin. No one else was injured in the accident. The roadway is back open.
