In a joint effort between Bibb County Sheriff’s Violent Crimes Investigators, Gang Investigators, Deputies and the US Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force along with a Crimestoppers Tip,  49 year old Jessie Gray, who was wanted for the Murder of Brenda Faulkner on February 16, 2017, was captured this evening.

Just before 08:00p.m. this evening Gray was located hiding behind a house in the 1100 block of Boulevard and he was taken into custody without incident. Gray was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigative Division for questioning.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Public and Media for their assistance in locating Jessie Gray.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Dead Body Found In Pleasant Hills Neighborhood

Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking into the death of black female that was found in a house at 1776 First Avenue this morning. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person down at the address just after 11:00 a.m. this morning. Investigators are on the scene.

The victim has been identified as 58 year old Brenda Faulkner. The victims 2002 Ford Mustang has been located and recovered in the 4200 block of Robinson Circle at around 3:30 p.m. this afternoon. Investigators are investigating the incident as a homicide.
