On July 11, 2020, at 8:38 p.m., the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a family friend located 56-year-old Mathew Williams at a local convince store. The family friend drove Williams to his sister’s residence and is in good health.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Is Asking for Public’s Assistance in Locating a Missing Person

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person. On July 9, 2020, at 7:15 p.m. 56-year-old Mathew Williams walked away from his assisted living residence, in the 600 block of Monroe Street. Williams suffers from dementia and has other minor medical issues requiring medication. Deputies were contacted at 9:18 p.m. and attempted to locate Williams.

Williams is six foot four inches tall, weighs two hundred and thirty pounds and is bald. He was last seen wearing a gray and white striped shirt, blue jeans, and red shoes.
