Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators received information on the location of 33-year-old Vernon Battle. Battle was in downtown Macon and is in good health. Battle family was contacted, and he has been removed from the system as a missing person.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Is Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Locating a Missing Person

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person. It was reported that 33-year-old Vernon Battle left his home in Jonesboro Ga., and has not made any contact with his family in over six months. The family stated that he suffers from schizophrenia/bipolar disorder. After further investigation it was discovered that Battle was a resident at Salvation Army two weeks ago, but left on his own. No one has had contact with Battle as of that date. Friends of Battle stated he is known to live in alleyways in the downtown area.
