The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal single vehicle traffic accident that took place at around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday.
The accident occurred in the 4000 block of Donnan Road. It was reported that a driver of a motorcycle lost control, left the roadway, and then hit concrete steps of an abandoned house. The motorcyclist , 44-year-old Donald John Carlasare, was transported to the Navicent, where he was later pronounced deceased. According to Coroner Leon Jones, the next of kin has been notified.
