The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred on Forsyth Road at its intersection with Wesleyan Drive. The accident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 8:19 p.m.
It was reported that a GMC Yukon and a motorcycle collided at the intersection. The male driver on the motorcycle was transported to the Atrium Navicent Health. The motorcyclist, identified as 30-year-old Tyler Eason, was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. The driver of the vehicle, 41-year-old Rodriquez Flores, was not injured. The next of kin has been notified by the Coroner’s Office.
