The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single vehicle, fatal accident that occurred on Hawkinsville Road (south), just north of the Houston Road exit ramp. The accident took place at around 4:26p.m.
It was reported that a 2001 Honda Civic was traveling south in the far right lane of Hawkinsville Road. The driver, 34 – year -old Victoria Leigh Phillips, lost control of the vehicle and veered to the left lane of travel and flipped over. Phillips passed away at the scene. No one else was inside of the vehicle.
