Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested an individual in connection with the fatal shooting investigation of Dismond Wright.

Investigators interviewed 37-year-old Alex Antwon Skinner of Warner Robins about the fatal shooting of Dismond Wright that occurred in the 1500 block of Long Acre Drive. It was reported that there was an altercation between the two men. During the altercation, Skinner brandished a handgun and shot Wright.

After Investigators interviewed Skinner about the incident, he was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Skinner is currently being held without bond, for the charge of Murder.

Fatal Shooting Incident

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred in the 1500 block of Long Acre Drive. This incident took place at around 9:40p.m.

It was reported that 46-year-old Dismond Wright was shot and transported to the Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance. Wright was pronounced deceased at the hospital. According to the Coroner’s Office, next of kin has been notified.

A possible suspect was taken to the Investigation Division to be interviewed. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
