The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that took place at 07:30 a.m. at the Krispy Kreme, located at 519 North Avenue.
It was reported that the suspect, described as a black male and wearing dark clothing, entered the store, jumped over the counter and struck the 31-year-old clerk multiple times, with his fist. The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of money. He fled the store and got into a black SUV.
The clerk was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center for treatment and is listed in stable condition at this time. Further information will be released as it becomes available. A picture of the suspect is attached.
