Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 200 Cherry Street ,Terminal Station in reference to a report of a person shot just before 7:30 a.m. When deputies arrived they found the victim, a black male outside the terminal station with multiple gunshot wounds.
It was reported that the victim identified as 32yr old Harold Walters was involved in a altercation with 22yr old Jalen Brown, resulting in Brown shooting Walters .
Walters was transported to the Navicent Health Center by ambulance where he is being treated for his injuries. Walters is listed to be in stable condition.
Brown turned himself into deputies at the Bibb Law Enforcement Center after this incident occurred. Brown is charged with theft by receiving, for being in possession of a stolen gun and Aggravated Assault. Brown is being held on a $31,750 bond.
During this incident a vehicle that was occupied twice was passing the terminal station when it was struck by the gunfire. No one in the vehicle was injured.
