The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred at 4432 Pharr Avenue. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the address on Pharr Avenue at around 11:45 a.m. Monday morning. It was reported that a friend of the victim went over to the house check on him. The friend found the carport door cracked open and found the white male victim lying just inside the doorway of the house unresponsive.
The victim appeared to have a least one gunshot wound. Investigators were still processing the scene. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office. He was identified as 53 year old Michael Baxley of Macon. Baxley lived at the home on Pharr Avenue. Next of Kin was notified by the Bibb County Coroner’s Office.
