Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a traffic accident with serious injury just before 3:30 p.m. at I-475 north and I-75 north. It was reported that a 2005 Toyota Solara was traveling I-475 north at I-75 and went off the roadway. The driver of the vehicle was ejected from the vehicle during the accident. She was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital where she passed away a short time later. The Bibb County Coroner’s Office notified next of kin and has released her name. She is 17 year old Heather Harrod of Macon.
