The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators along with the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, make an arrest in the shooting incident that occurred this morning at 6000 Harrison Road, Bridgeview Hotel. Gregory Bernard Staten Jr., age 27, was arrested just before 12:00 noon. Staten was located at a residence on Woolfolk Street, in East Macon.
Staten was arrested without incident. Staten is currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex for the charge of Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder. Staten is being held, without bond.
