Bibb County Sheriff‘s Office Investigators, with the assistance of the Bibb County Board of Education Police, Bibb County Schools, and Warner Robins Police Department, helped identify the suspects involved in the three carjacking incidents. Investigators arrested two male juveniles and two female juveniles in connection to the carjackings that occurred during November 21, 2022, and November 22, 2022.

During the course of this investigation, it was discovered that these juveniles were also involved in an additional carjacking that occurred on November 19, 2022. The incident occurred in the 3500 block of Log Cabin Drive. The juveniles were located and taken to the RYDC and each were charged with four counts of carjacking and aggravated assault.

Investigators were able to locate all four of the vehicles taken during these incidents.

In addition to these incidents, deputies responded to Walmart located at 6020 Harrison Road on November 22,2022, in reference to several individuals entering the store and concealing items. It was reported that a store employee confronted the group, and when they did, a firearm was brandished and the group ran from the store with various items. After reviewing surveillance, it was determined that the juveniles that were involved in the carjacking were also the individuals involved in this incident. The juveniles have been charged with an additional charge of robbery by intimidation.

This is an ongoing investigation and additional arrests are pending.

Public Assistance Identifying and Locating Theft by Taking Suspects

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance for information related to three stolen autos that occurred at separate locations starting on November 21, 2022.

The first incident occurred in the parking lot of Reliance Food Mart located at 3590 Napier Ave, just before 9:00pm. A Silver in color 2014 Dodge Avenger was taken at gun point by four male juveniles.

The second incident occurred at Shell gas station located at 627 Shurling Dr, on November 22, 2022, just before 2:00am. It was reported that a Red in color 2000 Ford Taurus was taken by two male juveniles.

The third incident occurred at Econo Lodge located at 130 Holiday Dr. north, at 3:20am. At this location, a red in color 2015 Buick Encore was taken by subjects described as two black female juveniles and one black male juvenile. Investigators have determined the juveniles used the vehicle from the first theft by taking to take the additional vehicles.

The owners of the vehicles were not injured during these incidents.
