The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident on Forsyth Street at Vineville Avenue. It was reported at 11:33 a.m. that a black Toyota 4Runner was traveling west on Vineville Avenue when they lost control and struck a power pole and street signs. The driver, a 52-year-old female, was taken to Navicent Health Medical Center for treatment for minor injuries. No one else was injured during the incident.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking that everyone avoid the area until the power pole can be replaced. No charges filed.
