Traffic Accident With Serious Injury

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident that occurred on Emery Highway at Lakeside Road, just before 2:00 p.m.
It was reported that a motorcycle was traveling west on Emery Highway. A 2004 Nissan Murano was making a left turn from Emery Highway onto Lakeside Road. Both vehicles collided at the intersection. The male driver of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries. His condition is unknown at this time. The driver of the Nissan was unharmed.
This accident is still under investigation. Further information will be given once it becomes available.
