The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious death of a female that occurred at the Raintree Apartments, located in east Bibb County. The management had not heard from 62 year old Mary Robinson, for several days and attempted to make contact with her. After finding that she was deceased, inside of the apartment, Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the scene.
Crime scene investigators were also called to the scene, as well as the Coroner’s Office. Robinson’s body will be transported to the G.B.I. Crime Lab for an autopsy to be performed, in an attempt to determine the cause of death. This incident is under investigation. Additional information will be released, once it comes available.
The Coroner’s Office is attempting to locate the next of kin. It was reported the Ms. Robinson is possibly from Knoxville, Tennessee.
