Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators followed up on information in the murder of 36 year old Ralfeale Lowe that has led to the arrest of two people. On Thursday afternoon investigators located and picked up 18 year old Qontavis Markis Bryant in Bibb County and brought him in for questioning. After being interviewed, Bryant was charged with murder and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. His bond was denied by the Magistrate Court Judge.

On Friday just before 12:00 noon, investigators received information on the whereabouts of the second suspect, 17 year old Brandon McAllister. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies, with the assistance from the U.S. Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force, located and picked up McAllister at a location in Bibb County. He was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Office for questioning. After being interviewed, McAllister was charged with murder. He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He awaits his first appearance before a Magistrate Court Judge.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Fatal Shooting

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a person shot at English Avenue Apartments, located at 2336 English Avenue just after 4:30 p.m. this afternoon. When deputies arrived at the apartments, they found the victim, a black male, shot in the chest. He was inside the doorway of one of the apartments. The 36 year old male, identified as Ralfeale Lowe, was taken to the Navicent Health Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
