Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators along with Animal Enforcement officers arrested two Macon men for Dog Fighting at an address in the 600 block of Poppy Avenue at 08:19 a.m.
The Bibb County Civil Court Sheriff’s Office was conducting an eviction at the residence on Poppy Avenue, when they found evidence of dogfighting. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators along with Animal Enforcement officers responded to the scene. Investigators were able to find enough evidence to obtain a search warrant for the residence. During the search of the property, Animal Enforcement officers found that ten dogs showed signs of Dogfighting. Investigators detained 62-year-old Dale Fluellen, and his son 43-year-old Christopher Shawn Fluellen.
Dale Fluellen was transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with ten counts of Prohibited Dog Fighting and Related Conduct. He is being held without bond at this time.
