Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies were patrolling the area of Walker Street and Edna Place when they witnessed a white Chevy Cruz fail to stop at the stop sign. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.

While deputies were approaching the vehicle, the driver, 19-year-old Nicktarios Linardo Kinder, of Macon informed them that he had a rifle in the front seat of the car. Deputies had both Kinder and his passenger, 18-year-old Ricky Johnson III, of Macon exit the vehicle.

While checking the vehicle deputies located the rifle and a pistol. When deputies checked the firearms the pistol came back as reported stolen out of Bibb County in February of this year.

Kinder was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign. He is being held on a $10,300.00 bond at this time.

Johnson was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Theft by Receiving Stolen Property. He is being held on a $5,700.00 bond at this time.
