On April 7, 2019 just before 12:30pm Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were patrolling the area of Shurling Drive and New Clinton Road when they witnessed a vehicle run a red light.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the Lincoln Town Car and made contact with the driver, 28 year-old Quijohnnie D’Angelo Harvey. While talking to Harvey deputies could smell a strong odor of Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Harvey told the deputies “I’m not going to lie to you officer, I do have Marijuana in the vehicle”. A bag containing marijuana was located under the passenger seat.
Harvey was arrested and taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. He was released on a $5,700.00 bond on April 8, 2019.
