On February 26, 2019 just after 12:00pm Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies attached to the U.S. Marshals S.E.R.F.T.F. served a Superior Court Probation warrant at 1321 Allen Road. 32 year-old Joseph Seth Sheriff, of Macon was arrested on the warrant.
While officers were detaining Joseph they saw several guns and other items in the house. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit were called out and conducted a search warrant on the residence. Two A.R. 15 rifles, a Springfield pistol, ammunition, along with 3.5grams of Methamphetamine and less than an oz. of Marijuana were found at the residence.
Joseph Seth Sheriff was taken to the Bibb County Jail and is charged with Possession of Schedule I or II Controlled Substance, Possession of Firearm during the Commission of Felonies, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon and Probations Violation. He is being held on a $22,600.00 bond at this time.
