On July 19, 2019, just before 10:30 p.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol deputies were checking the area of Lynmore Avenue and Tela Place when they witnessed a Saturn SL2 that had a tag on it, that belonged on a Buick.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, 29-year-old Jimmie Jaborious Washington, of Macon. Deputies saw a handgun lying in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Washington who had reached for the gun to give it to deputies, was asked to leave it and step out of the vehicle. Deputies checked Washington for weapons and found a pill bottle with Xanax in it on his person.

Deputies then checked the vehicle and located a bag containing Marijuana on the center console. When deputies pulled the bag out they noticed a smaller bag with heroin in it. There was also another pill bottle which contained cocaine in the console.

Washington was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance, Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Possession of Marijuana less than Ounce, Driving While Unlicensed and Affixing a Tag with Intent to Conceal Identity of Vehicle. He is being held without bond at this time.
