On August 28, 2020, at 10:41 a.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators along with the Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. team conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 60 block of Davis Street.

Investigators received a tip that 29-year-old Kelvin Laterrance Womack, of Macon, had a large quantity of Marijuana in his residence. Investigators made entry into the home and found Womack with approximately two and a half pounds of Marijuana. Deputies also located a large sum of cash and a firearm. Investigators detained Womack.

Womack was transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Purchase, Possession, Manufacture, Distribution or Sale of Marijuana, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. He is being held without bond at this time.
