Just before 01:00am Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies got a call in regards to a person trying to pass counterfeit one hundred dollar bills at 430 Cherry Street, Hummingbird Taproom. Upon arrival deputies were informed that the suspect had left the bar after being confronted about the money. The Bar tender was able to give deputies the suspects name and a description of him.

Deputies were able to locate the suspect at BJ’s Billiards. 20 year-old Garrett Aaron Thomson, of Centerville. When Thomson was located, he still had three more counterfeit one hundred dollar bills. Thomson also had three small bags of Cocaine, a fake South Carolina I.D. and a Marijuana blunt in his possession.

Thomson was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Marijuana Possession Less Than an oz., Forgery and Fraudulent Identification. He is being held on $14,000.00 bond at this time.
