Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested an individual in connection with entering autos at the Park at Northside Apartments, located at 3876 Northside Drive at 2:06 a.m. Friday morning.

Bibb Sheriff’s patrol deputies responded to the apartment complex after receiving a call for three suspicious persons, entering automobiles.  When deputies arrived, the suspicious individuals spotted Sheriff’s deputies, and led them on a brief foot pursuit.  Back up units arrived on the scene, and deputies were able to apprehend one of the individuals. Although deputies were not able to capture the other individuals, they were able to locate a stolen vehicle that the suspects used during the incident.

Deputies arrested 19-year-old Tyrek Moore and transported him to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. Moore was charged with (1) Count of Entering Automobile, or other Motor Vehicle with Intent to Commit a Theft or (Felony), and (1) Count of Theft by Receiving Stolen Property (Felony).  Moore currently does not have a bond.
