On June 13, 2019, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol arrested a Macon woman for theft of a vehicle. Deputies were called to an address in the 1400 block of Bailey Avenue in regards to a stolen car at 10:15 a.m…. It was reported that 51-year-old Teri Leigh Pierce had taken a Mazda minivan without permission.
While checking the area of Eisenhower Parkway deputies spotted the vehicle at the Regency Inn located at 4951 Eisenhower Parkway. Deputies were able to take Pierce into custody without incident.
Pierce was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Theft by Taking Auto. She is being held on a $4050.00 bond at this time.
