On July 19, 2019, just after 3:00 p.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were patrolling the area of Lilly Avenue and Grosso Avenue when they witnessed a Ford Explorer fail to stop at the stop sign at Lilly Avenue and Peter Street.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, 42-year-old Wesley Aaron Harrison of Macon. The vehicle had a suspended registration on it and while deputies were talking to Harrison they noticed that his hands were shaking.

When deputies asked if there were any drugs in the vehicle Harrison told them that there were. Deputies searched the vehicle and located a bag of Marijuana and two small bags of Cocaine.

Harrison was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Marijuana Possession less than an Ounce, Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance and Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration. He was released on July 19, 2019, on a $10,400.00 bond.
