On November 2, 2019, at 11:40 p.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to 303 Chambers Cove Drive, Chambers Cove Apartments, in reference to a suspicious person.

Upon arrival, deputies made contact with 36-year-old Chaz Quavis Green, of Macon. They found Green laying on the steps going to an upstairs apartment with his head towards the bottom of the stairs and feet towards the top. Deputies could smell a strong odor coming from Green’s person and noticed that his pants were down and Green had soiled himself.

Deputies determined that Green was attempting to make contact at his ex-wife’s apartment. Deputies per the request of the ex-wife had Green leave the area walking back to his residence. A short time later deputies were checking the area and located Green who had returned to the apartment of his ex-wife.

Deputies detained Green and while checking him for weapons located a small bag of a powdery substance believed to be cocaine. Green was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of Cocaine.
