Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies arrested a woman for drug possession just before 2:30 p.m on April 15, 2019. While patrolling the area of Walnut Street and Forest Avenue deputies saw a Mazda 3 parked on the wrong side of the Street.
Deputies made contact with the driver, 31 year-old Aisha Sheedha James of Macon. While talking to James deputies could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. While checking James for weapons and contraband deputies located a bag containing marijuana. Deputies then searched the vehicle and located a bag contacting several small bags of powdered cocaine.
James was arrested and taken to the Bibb County Jail on charges of Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. She was released on a $9,750.00 bond.
