Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 3555 Mercer University Drive, Heaven Restaurant, in regards to a person with a gun in the parking lot.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke to the security guard who works for Heaven and were told that a black male in a red Chrysler 300 had a gun on him and would not leave the property.

Deputies made contact with the male, identified as 35-year-old Quenton Darnell Hart of Macon. While talking to Hart deputies saw two bags of marijuana sitting in the cup holder of the car. Deputies detained Hart and found a large amount of cash on his person. Deputies then checked the vehicle and located more marijuana and a baggie of ecstasy pills. Deputies also located a scale and box of baggies for separating the marijuana to be sold. No weapon was located.

Hart was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute. He is being held without bond at this time.
