On March 1, 2019 just after 01:00am Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies were in the area of Mercer University Drive and Bloomfield Drive. Deputies witnessed a Silver Honda Accord speeding on Mercer University Drive. Deputies stopped the vehicle as it attempted to hide from them by turning off its lights in the Atwood Drive neighborhood.

The driver of the Honda was identified as 28 year-old Davius Dewayne Johnson, of Macon. While talking to Johnson deputies noticed a clear bag containing smaller bags of Marijuana in the driver’s door.

Johnson was detained and the vehicle was searched. It was discovered that there were seventeen individual bags of Marijuana and twelve pieces of Crack Cocaine in the vehicle.

Johnson was arrested and taken to the Bibb County Jail. Johnson was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Schedule II with Intent to Distribute and Traffic Offence Too Fast for Conditions. He is being held on a $19,910.00 bond at this time.
