On June 16, 2020, at 11:38 a.m., the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the 3300 block of Antioch Heights Road in regards to an aggravated assault.
It was reported that there was a verbal dispute between two females, over a male. During the dispute 21-year-old, Alexis Destinee Tharpe pulled a pistol and fired several shots at the other female and several other individuals who were also at the scene. The female was grazed by a bullet in the upper torso. She was treated and released by EMS. No one else was injured during this incident.
Deputies along with Marshals with the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, took Tharpe into custody at her residence without incident.
Tharpe was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Criminal Damage to Property. She is being held on a $17,000.00 bond at this time.
