Arrest Made in Commercial Burglary Incident at Bass Pro Shop

Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to a Commercial Burglar Alarm call at 5000 Bass Road, Bass Pro Shop, at around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night. Deputies along with a store employee searched the store and found nothing disturbed at the time. Upon opening on Wednesday morning at 7:32a.m store employees found that the store had been burglarized.   After deputies arrived on scene they were shown by an employee that a window to the business was pried open and that’s how it was missed earlier.

With the help of an employee, deputies were able to pull up the security camera surveillance video. They observed three black males on the video walking around the inside of the business. One of the male suspects could be seen walking to the front doors pulling on the doors before going to the side of the business where entry was made. It was reported that  once inside the suspects ran into the building, grabbed several rifles and then running out of the building. It was reported that nine guns were taken.

After reviewing surveillance one of three suspects was identified. The suspect identified was 19year old Tylaun Mullins of Macon. When Mullins was taken into custody two of the stolen guns from the burglary was recovered with him. Mullins was transported to the Bibb Sheriff’s Property Investigations Office to be interviewed.  Mullins was charged with 1 count of Burglary and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex. He is currently being held at the jail with no bond.
