The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 25 year old Jerome Dewayne Beasley. He is wanted for the shooting incident that occurred at Club Sparks, located at 3761 Mercer University Drive, on March 5, 2018.

Warrants for Beasley’s arrest were obtained by investigators while he was at the Navicent Health Center, recovering from a gunshot wound. Beasley left the hospital, prior to completing his care.

Beasley is described as a black male, he is around 5 feet 3 inches in height and weighs approximately 135 lbs.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Shooting Incident

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Shooting incident that occurred at Club Sparks, located at 3761 Mercer University Dr. The incident occurred just after 1:30a.m. Monday I morning.  Witnesses stated that there was an altercation inside the club. An employee of the club, 27yr old Tyree Singletary, of Macon, was breaking up a fight between two subjects. One of the subjects pulled a pistol and shot Singletary in the left arm. Singletary was driven to the Navicent Health Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

The suspect 25yr old Jerome Dewayne Beasley, of Macon, later came into the Navicent Health with a gunshot to his left side. It was reported that Beasley was fighting with another subject when Singletary grabbed him to try to stop the fight. Beasley pulled a pistol and shot Singletary and himself. Beasley is also listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured during the incident.

Beasley is being charged with aggravated assault and will be taken to the Bibb County Jail, once he is released from the Hospital.
