The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a person unresponsive on the side of the road at 1:35pm, on Ocmulgee East Blvd. When deputies arrived they discovered that a male pedestrian was struck and killed. The pedestrian was identified as 51 year- old John Thomas. The next of kin was notified by the Coroner’s office. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is reaching out to the public for any information regarding this incident.
