The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the commercial armed robbery. The incident occurred Tuesday morning on September 18, 2018 at 1:24 a.m. at the Circle K located at 2580 Riverside Drive. It was reported that the suspect entered the store and approached the employee, pointing a handgun at her. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash registers. The suspect ran out of the store, last seen headed in the direction of Applebee’s. No one was injured during the robbery.
Photograph of the suspect and vehicle from the store’s video surveillance cameras are attached. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a white tee shirt, black pants and gray tee shirt covering his face. The suspect fled the scene in a light color/silver vehicle.
