The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident, involving pedestrians that occurred near the intersection of Bloomfield Road and Mercer University Drive. The accident took place at around 1:40p.m.
It was reported that Paula Pittman and Kenneth Jackson, both 52 years of age, were attempting to cross the road, when they were struck by a vehicle, driven by 24 year old Kierra Golden. She was driving a 2015, gray in color, Toyota Corolla.
Pittman and Jackson were both transported to the hospital .Pittman is listed to be in critical, but stable condition. Jackson is listed to be in stable condition. No one else was injured during this accident.
No charges are pending at this time.
