The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred on Broadway at Houston Rd, just after 07:00am. It was reported that a 51yr old white male was crossing Broadway, going east, when he stepped in front of a Dodge Ram truck driven by 49yr old Joey Warren, of Warner Robins. Warren was traveling north on Houston Rd turning onto Broadway. The Pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene by Coroner Leon Jones. The name of the deceased cannot be released yet because the next of Kin has not been notified. No one else was injured in the accident. The roadway is back open.
