Bibb County Sheriff’s responded to 218 Northridge Drive just after 7:00 p.m. Friday afternoon in reference to the missing person, Clarence Hampton. Deputies met with Hampton and his wife. Hampton had returned to his residence on Northridge Drive. Hampton reported he was driving around after leaving the hospital and returned home later.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone that assisted in getting the information out on Friday afternoon about Clarence Hampton.

Asking for Public’s Assistance in Missing Person’s Investigation

Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a person that has been missing since around 12:00a.m., Friday. It was reported that 85 year old Clarence Hampton was last seen by his wife, while at the Northside hospital, located at 400 Charter Boulevard. It was reported that Hampton stated he was going home, but never arrived.

Hampton is described as a black male. He is around 6 feet 4 inches in height and weighs approximately 190 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black hat. Hampton uses a walker to get around.   Hampton was driving a 2002 Cadillac Deville, tag number TMW-119
