On August 15, 2019, Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to an address in the 2000 block of Maggie Drive in regards to a suspicious vehicle in a yard.
When deputies arrived on scene they were advised that the resident was out of town and there was not supposed to be anyone at the house, but a red vehicle was parked in the yard.
When deputies checked the house they found a white male in the residence trying to leave with a large jar of change. Deputies detained 42-year-old Shawn Victor Bissett, of Macon, who said that he was working on the house for a friend and cleaning it out. Deputies checked with the homeowner and were notified that this was not true.
Bissett was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Burglary, he also had a warrant out of Cobb County. He is being held without bond at this time.
