A family reported that their pet Dalmatian and German shepherd went missing on September 9, 2020. A lady found the dogs and immediately put an ad on Craigslist, in an attempt to locate the owners.

When the family noticed the ad, they contacted the lady and stated that they were the owners of the missing Dalmatian and German Shepherd. The lady told the family that a female individual claimed to be the owner of the Dalmatian had already picked up the dog. The owners contacted the Sheriff’s Office in reference to the theft of their Dalmatian.

On September 11, 2020, Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators received a tip that a female was spotted walking a Dalmatian in the area of Log Cabin Drive. Investigators canvassed the area of Log Cabin Drive and located a vehicle, matching the description of what was being driven by the female who claimed to be the Dalmatian’s owner. Investigators stopped at the residence of where the vehicle was located and made contact with 31-year-old Andrea Gore . Investigators inquired about the Dalmatian and located it in the bathroom of Gore’s residence.

Gore was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. Gore is currently in jail for the charge of Theft/Lost Mislaid Property. She currently has a bond of $650.00.

Investigators were able to reunite the Dalmatian with its family!
