Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit with the assistance of the Georgia Bureau of Investigations conducted an investigation that led to the arrest of two people in reference to trafficking methamphetamine on Thursday afternoon, at around 3:00 p.m. A Bibb County Sheriff’s K9 Deputy and his partner, assisted by other Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies, made traffic stop in the 2600 block of Riverside Drive on a vehicle occupied by the two people arrested on the drug charges. They were identified as 25 year old Katherine Amanda-Lynn Scrimpsher of Warner Robins and 39 year old Hennessy Alonzo Whitfield Sr. of Macon.

Investigators and deputies recovered approximately 102 grams of methamphetamine with an approximate street value of $10, 000.00, along with other unidentified powder substances and scales. Whitfield and Scrimpsher were both charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Both must appear before a Magistrate Judge for a bond.
