Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators along with a member of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested two suspects wanted in connection to the April 30, 2020 murder of 51-year-old Randall Head.
A Crimestoppers tip was called in that the suspects were hanging out in the area of Spring Street at the I-16 overpass at approximately 7:00 p.m.. When deputies arrived they located 38-year-old Jeremy James Bryant and 43-year-old Shelia Lewis Weeks sitting under the I-16 Bridge. As deputies and U.S. Marshals approached them Bryant took off on foot but was captured after a short foot pursuit without incident. Weeks was also taken into custody without incident.
Weeks and Bryant were transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations to be interviewed. They were then taken to the Bibb County Jail charged with Murder, Concealing Death of another Person and Theft by Taking Auto. Both Weeks and Bryant are being held without bond at this time.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Helping Locate Suspects Wanted in Homicide Investigation
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate the whereabouts of two suspects wanted in connection with the Homicide investigation of 51-year-old Randall Head.
Investigators are looking for suspect, Jeremy James Bryant, age 38. He is described as a white male. He is around 5 feet 9 inches in height and weighs approximately 140 lbs. A photograph of Bryant is attached to this release.
The second suspect is Shelia Lewis Weeks. She is described as a 43-year-old white female. Unknown height and weight. A photograph of Weeks is also attached to this media release.
It was reported that the two suspects have ties in Macon, Cordele, and the Cuthbert Georgia areas.

Homicide Investigation
Bibb County Sheriff Office Investigations received the results of 51-year-old Randall Head autopsy. According to Coroner Leon Jones the autopsy confirmed the cause of death is a stab wound to the neck. This incident is now being investigated as a homicide by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Death Investigation
Bibb County Sheriff Office responded to a call of a person down just before 10:00A.M. When deputies arrived, they found a male unresponsive laying down a wooded embankment.
After further investigation the male was identified as 51-year-old Randall Head. It was originally reported that Head was a missing person. After Head left his home on Saturday afternoon, April 25,2020 and had not been seen or heard from for two days. His father reported him as missing on April 27, 2020. At this time the cause of death is still under investigation. Heads body will be taken to GBI for an autopsy.
The next of kin was notified by Coroner Leon Jones.
