On July 15, 2019, at around 3:05p.m., 19-year-old Bradford Devonte Anderson turned himself over to members of the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, without incident.

Anderson is currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex, without bond, for the charge of Murder.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Homicide Investigation

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in locating 19-year-old Bradford Devonte Anderson of Macon, in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Randon Shamar Hogan.

Bradford Anderson is described as being around five foot, eight inches tall, weighing approximately one hundred and eighty-five pounds, and may possibly have  long “dreads” type of hairstyle.

The incident happened on July 10, 2019, just before 2:30 p.m. at the Shell Gas Station located 3750 Mercer University Drive.

A warrant for the charge of Murder has been signed for Anderson. *Pictures of Anderson are attached to the release.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Homicide Investigation

Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the Navicent Hospital, shortly after 2:30p.m. Wednesday, in reference to a shooting incident. It was reported that the victim was transported to the hospital by vehicle, after being shot at the Shell gas station parking lot, located at 3750 Mercer University Drive. 

The victim was pronounced deceased, shortly after arriving at the hospital. The victim of the fatal shooting was identified as 20-year-old Randon Shamar Hogan. The victim is from Macon. The next of kin has been notified.

This incident is under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
