A suspect that was sought in connection with the July 29th Homicide Investigation of Nadia Symone Andrews was arrested during a traffic stop in Beckley, West Virginia, Wednesday night.

According to the Beckley Police Department, 20-year-old Henry Jaquez Albritton and another male were passengers inside of a taxi cab that was stopped for several traffic violations. During the traffic stop, a Beckley Police K-9 indicated that there was a presence of narcotics. The Police Officers searched the vehicle and located numerous narcotics and other drug related items belonging to Albritton and the other passenger. Police Officers then arrested Albritton and the other male and transported them to the Southern Regional Jail in Beaver, West Virginia.

Albritton is facing drug related charges in Beckley.  An extradition trail for Albritton has not been set at this time.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in July Homicide Investigation

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a person of interest that is wanted for questioning in connection to a Homicide investigation.

The homicide occurred in July of this year. Investigators are wanting to speak with 20-year-old Henry Jaquez Albritton, of Macon. Albritton is known to frequent the Bloomfield area.

Fatal Shooting Investigation on Montpelier Avenue

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the parking lot of M&M Grocery store, located at 2760 Montpelier Avenue. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 12:51 a.m.

Investigators are collecting evidence and attempting to speak with possible witnesses to determine the circumstances around the fatal shooting. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.

A female was shot during the incident and transported to the hospital by ambulance. The female victim, 28-year-old Nadia Symone Andrews, was pronounced deceased at the hospital at 1:43 a.m. According to the Coroner’s Office the next of kin has been notified.
