The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was called to a report of a person down, at 844 Pansy Avenue, at around 11:37a.m. Monday morning.
When EMS arrived on the scene, they found a male victim, lying inside of the living room of the apartment.
The victim, 39 year old Freddie Bernard Slocumb Jr. was found in the living room, shot in the head area. No one else was injured during this incident. The next of kin has been notified.
