The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that happened on Mumford Road at West Napier Avenue, at 01:14 a.m.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to Mumford Road at West Napier Avenue regarding a person shot. When deputies arrived, they located 48-year-old Parrish Forster, of Macon, shot once in the back. Forster was transported to the Atrium Navicent Health where he was later pronounced deceased. The next of kin has been notified.
There is no information on the suspect, or what lead up to the incident currently.
